homemade ramen soup

ramen soup. I get so lazy these days and don't quite run through the whole process of how i make a dish…. If you look at my blog about 6+ months ago, you will see a big difference. This must have been the prime of my blog

Anyway… I think I will work my way back to fuller posts, but for now, I just give you a list of the top ingredients off my head. Noodles, steak, seseame oil, seaweed, scallions, cayenne pepper, benito flakes, and mucho more all made this ultra yummy ramen soup

Some more street vendor food in Ecuador

Plantains and pork bits

Ecuador picture from some little side store in old town Quito. Looks like a slab of pork skin / fat, pork bits, and plantains in a few gallons of fat.

Other blog

Don’t forget to check out my non-food posts on He That Cooks. I’ve started putting up other pictures and stories from my very recent Ecuador adventure.

Eating guinea pig

If you guessed Cuy, AKA guinea pig, your correct!! This was one of my favorite foods in Ecuador. I had it on 3 occasions, first time was deep fried. 2nd was on a spit over a fire, and 3rd was on a grill. The 2nd time on the spit was the best!!!! It was sooooo tasty. The guinea pigs ranged in size from your standard pet size of maybe 8 inches long, to a rabbit size. Eat guinea pig!

Emergency out of town

Sorry everybody, I know you have been waiting for my return, but something has come up, and I will not be able to blog for at least another week. I hope to return to blogging by the 13th or so.
You have many amazing posts to look forward to from my trip to Ecudaor, such as: guinea pig, blood sausage, heart, and other amazing street foods that I probably shouldn’t have been so audacious to try. So don’t forget about me!!
