San Francisco chowder

Went to San Francisco to visit Kaizad and Dixie last year. It was fun.

25 pounds of lamb

This is what 25 pounds of lamb looks like. I got this about 2 months ago, and I believe it has satisfied my craving for lamb.

Salted pig parts

Gosh, I enjoyed this soooooo much.

This last one that i am eating is a rolled pig's head. They take a pig's head, debone it, roll it up, and cure it. It had a very delicate flavor, nothing like cured salamis.

Landmarc meal

Tanaz and I went to Landmarc Restaurant about a month back prior to attending Madama Butterfly, (AKA Madame Butterfly) at the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center. Their lunch menu was surprisingly affordable.

Flank steaks grilling

These are couple flank steaks that I grilled a few weekends ago at my sister's. I really miss grilling in the city! This was the best steak I've had so far this year.

Setup for seedling

I'm keeping my setup on the counter for now. Perhaps in 2 weeks, I'll transplant the seedling to its permanent home.

Light timer

This is the light timer i am using to turn the light on and off daily. I get a geol deal of natural sunlight in my apt., but only direct for a couple short hours. for ideal growth my tomato plant needs about 12-14 hours of light.

Planted seeds

I planted my seeds on Thursday, the 16th. I planted 4. I'll only grow the strongest of them, and dispose of the feeble.

They are in a material called rockwool. It's made of rock that is melted and spun into this fiberous inert mass. It hold water VERY well... so much so that after watering them and placing into the tupperware, I was able to leave town for 4 days.

The odd violet'ish light you see is from my LED grow lamp. I'll tell you more about that later
